Tea In A Box

What is Tea in a Box?

The PTA (CLESA) runs Tea in a Box. This is a fundraising event that takes place three times a year, normally on the last day (or the last Friday) of term.

Approximately two weeks before the event, forms are sent home to parents to order either a meat or vegetarian Tea in a Box. The box consists of one sausage roll (meat or vegetarian), a chocolate bar (normally a Kit Kat), a packet of crisps and a drink.  There are vegetarian and healthy options also available.  (For a full list of ingredients, please click on the following link). There is a charge of £4.00 for one box. Extra boxes may be ordered for siblings at £4.00.

How can you help?

Tea in a Box would not be able to go ahead without the help of volunteer parents.

Volunteers will meet between 2-3pm in the dining room at the end of term and make up the tea boxes, label, and deliver them to each class by 2.45pm, ready for the class teacher to hand out at the end of the day to the children that have order one.

If you would like to help please send an email to clesacochair@gmail.com. It is important to let us know as early as possible if you can help, as in the past we have had to cancel events due to a shortage of helpers.

NB: Due to health & safety considerations, we cannot accept volunteers who have other children with them on the day.
