Tea In A Box

What is Tea in a Box?

The PTA (CLESA) runs Tea in a Box. This is a funding raising event that takes place six times a year, normally on the last day of a half and full term.

Approximately two weeks before the event, forms are sent home to parents to order either a meat or vegetarian Tea in a Box. The box consists of one sausage roll (meat or vegetarian), a chocolate bar (normally a Kit Kat), a packet of crisps and a drink. There is a charge of £3.00 for one box with the option of ordering an extra sausage roll for an additional £1 (so £4.00 in total). Extra boxes may be ordered for siblings at £3.00.

How can you help?

Tea in a Box would not be able to go ahead without the help of volunteer parents.

Volunteers will meet between 2-3pm in the dining room and make up the tea boxes, label, and deliver them to each class by 2.45pm, ready for the class teacher to hand out at the end of the day to the children that have order one.

If you would like to help please complete the section at the bottom of the order form once you have received it. It is important to let us know as early as possible if you can help, as in the past we have had to cancel events due to a shortage of helpers.

NB: Due to health & safety considerations, we cannot accept volunteers who have other children with them on the day.
