Emotions

Wellbeing is when you feel good about yourself and can appropriately manage the full range of emotions. Emotions can range from happiness, excitement and curiosity through to less comfortable feelings such as anger, fear or sadness. Being mentally healthy allows us to cope with every day changes and struggles. It allows us to ask for help when we need it or apply strategies to manage our emotions.

Below are examples of activities which we use in school to support children to explore their emotions. If you have concerns about a specific emotion your child is struggling with, please speak to your class teacher, who can provide personalised resource suggestions.
